Paul Range was jailed for six years after he was found guilty of possessing a knife, two counts of wounding and assault causing actual bodily harm. The dad-of-seven stabbed two neighbours and knocked out another man in a row over noise.
The row had erupted in the car park behind Paul Range’s home in Wicks Crescent in Formby on September 25th last year.
He was found guilty of two offences of wounding and also assaulting another man by punching him unconscious and possessing a knife.
The jury, who returned their final verdicts after five and a half hours deliberations, cleared him of two more serious alternative charges of wounding with intent.
The court was told that Paul Range, 56 years old of Wicks Crescent in Formby, was enraged by noisy neighbours when he knocked someone out with one punch before arming himself with a kitchen knife and stabbing two other people on Friday 25th September last year.
Paul Range is the father of Sugababes singer Heidi Range.
