Four car RTC on Formby By Pass

On Saturday 26th March Merseyside Police were called to a four car road traffic collision on Formby By Pass on the Formby bound carriageway near to the junction with Liverpool Road. This collision caused a blockage for approximately an hour.

A Blue Toyota Aygo, a Black Vauxhall Corsa, A Silver Vauxhall Corsa and a Silver Vauxhall Insignia were involved in a nose to tail shunt.

No one was seriously injured however an ambulance was called to the scene to assist a passanger in one of the vehicles , who needed checking over as she was complaining of neck pain.

With the exception of the undamaged Black Vauxhall Corsa, all vehicles were recovered and towed away within the hour.
