Criminal damage - St. Peter's Church in Formby

Merseyside Police is investigating a report of criminal damage at Trinity St Peter’s Church, Green Lane, Formby earlier this week. Formby Neighbourhood Sergeant Ian Allum said: “There has been a report of damage to a tree in the churchyard. It has also been brought to our attention that earlier this month a small amount of damage has been caused to memorials within the graveyard. "We are working closely with the church and members of the congregation to tackle the issues and I would welcome any information on anti-social behaviour and criminal damage in and around the church.” Anyone with information in relation to this or any similar incidents is encouraged to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
