Redgate Infants Sponsored Welly Walk

The children in the infant department at Redgate Community Primary School decided they wanted to improve their outdoor learning environment.

To do this they wanted to do a sponsored welly walk and so reception, year one and year two all walked from Redgate school to Duke Street park and back again.

They also enjoyed some play and relaxation time in the park before heading back to school.

The staff are all very proud at how the children have taken ownership of their own fundraising. They were also extremely proud with how the children walked safely to and from the park...it was quite a journey for their little legs!
