Car crashed through the barriers at One Stop in Formby

There has been a road traffic collision at Cross Green in Formby. A car has crashed right through the railings and stopped just before hitting the Express Dry Cleaners at the One Stop shop.

The roundabout is completely blocked with traffic backing up so avoid if possible.

Merseyside Fire and Rescue are on site at the moment but we are unsure if anyone is hurt. The male driver is being cut out of the vehicle. Police are also on site.
