Road Works with delays likely on Church Road

United Utilities are installing a Long Sided Service Connection at a depth of under 1.5 meters by open excavation with Permanent Reinstatement. This work has already started and will continue until 27th August on the B5424 Church Road in Formby, outside and opposite number 61.

Multi-way Traffic lights are in place and delays are expected in both directions especially around peak times. We would advise using an alternative route if possible.

There is also multi-way traffic lights on the junction of Whitehouse Lane and Church Road which is to enable the new water connection on Church Road. Work is in progress and will continue until 27th August.
