Woman in hospital after her car ditched in Engine Lane Formby

The emergency services were called out to Engine Lane in Formby today after a driver missed a turning in todays wet weather and landed upside down in a ditch.

The female driver was taken to Southport hospital to be treated for her injuries. The car, however, looked like a write-off.
