You are invited tomorrow to an afternoon with the talented SOS Band with Pop classics from the 50's and 60's.
Formby Christian Fellowship are reaching out to the elderly, lonely and vulnerable of Formby with a social event every 4th Thursday in Formby Christian Fellowship’s building, 93 Church Road.
We start at 1.30 and offer entertainment of some kind – often a band playing, or a film, talk, quiz or other activity – followed by a tea of sandwiches and cakes – usually finishing around 4pm.
It is a safe place for people to meet together and make friends.

What a wonderful initiative to support the elderly and vulnerable in the community! Events like these are a great way to combat loneliness and foster connections. For families looking for additional care options for their loved ones, a hospice cna can provide expert, compassionate support to ensure comfort at home. These social gatherings paired with personalized care can make a real difference in the lives of the elderly. It’s heartwarming to see such efforts to bring people together and create lasting friendships.
