Met Office predicts sunny spells and overnight frosts for Formby this week.....

The lost sand dunes on Formby beach after the storm last week which battered the Sefton coastline causing two and a half years damage in one day. It also exposed the walls of the first lifeboat station in Britain.
Crisp, fresh mornings with bright sunshine are on the cards for Ormskirk , Formby ,Southport and Skelmersdale after the snow and rain of last week cleared over the weekend.
The Met Office is forecasting chilly starts by dry and bight days for the whole week ahead with east and northeasterly wind speeds only reaching 14mph at their highest.
There will be cloud cover as temperatures drop to there lowest of -1C and at times it will feel as low as -4C, but forecasters have promised some clear sunny breaks.
Some showers have not been ruled out, but for the majority we are looking at a dry week.
