UPDATED, NEWS: Female Pedestrian knocked down in the Village.....

UPDATE: Yesterday afternoon at 3:12pm a lady in her 60's/70's who lives in a nursing home in Formby, tripped and fell into the road outside Morrisons in front of a Ford Mondeo, the driver stopped at the scene and the lady was later taken to hospital with a suspected broken hip.

There was a female pedestrian knocked down outside Morrisons in the village this afternoon at approx. 3:20pm. Whilst many people sat with her waiting for the Ambulance, it took over 20 minutes to arrive. We will update you on her condition as soon as we know.
