Remembering Peter “Bevis” Smith: A Cherished Member of the Formby Community

We are saddened to share the news that Peter Smith, affectionately known as Bevis, has sadly passed away.
Peter was formerly of Burlington Avenue and later Lonsdale Road in Formby and will be remembered by many people in the local community.
Peter’s funeral will take place on Saturday 19th September at 1.30pm at Burscough Crematorium.
Following the service, family and friends will be gathering at The Grapes in Formby, and anyone who knew Peter and would like to come along to pay their respects, share memories and say goodbye will be very welcome.
Our thoughts are with Peter’s family, friends and everyone who knew him at this very sad time.

It is with deep and wounding sadness that I learn of Peters (Bevis to many of his closest pals) passing.He was my best friend for some 60 years and will be missed terribly not only by myself but his family and very many friends.Rest In Peace old buddy….the great times we shared together will never be forgotten.Your forever pal,Frankie Douglas.
