The Tail of Alice and Daisy who are best friends looking for their forever home together
Can you help these Best Friends Forever find a home together?
Alice and Daisy have big hearts and even bigger smiles, which light up our days here at Freshfields Animal Rescue. These 2 loveable dogs have lived together happily, and have been BFFs since Alice was a puppy and Daisy was two.
Sadly, Alice and Daisy have now come back to us, as their loving owner has suffered a stroke and is unable to look after them anymore. All he asked of us is that we try and keep them together – so that’s what we’re trying to do, and that’s where we need your help.
Daisy is a German Pointer Cross, and although she is almost 10 years old, she still is as playful and affectionate as a puppy! Daisy is still an active girl and can be very strong on her walks. She loves to play ball almost as much as she loves her best friend Alice.
Alice is a Labrador Cross and she’s 8 years old. She loves children and doesn’t like loud noisesout on her walks. She’s a very friendly and affectionate girl, enjoys life and loves a big fuss and attention, and is never happier than when she’s playing with her partner-in-crime Daisy.
Vikki Ferguson, Kennels Worker at Freshfields, says: “Everyone here at Freshfields has fallen in love with these 2 adorable dogs. We can see how much they love each other, and we desperately want to find them a home where they can snuggle up together, just like they did in their previous home.“
Alice and Daisy are not adjusting to life in Kennels, as you might expect, after spending many years as beloved family pets in a loving home.
Although we know it might be devastating for them, we are having to consider taking the heart-breaking step of having to split them up in order to find them a home.
We so want to keep this inseparable pair together, and that’s why we need YOU! Your readers, viewers and listeners can transform their future and write a happy ending for Alice and Daisy. This is their last chance to find a home together, as cherished family pets living their best lives. Please help us to make their dream come true.”
If you can find room in your heart and your home, consider giving Alice and Daisy the chance of joy and love. You will get SO much back from these 2 happy, beautiful dogs, and they may just change your life!’
