Suspected dog poisoning in Formby

I just wanted those who have pets to beware. My husband came across a large piece of bread in the garden, not thinking it was anything suspicious he moved it higher up off the ground as our dog has severe allergies and wouldn't want her to access it and this would give the birds an opportunity to feed from it. A fews days later I noticed it was still there and thought it needed to be removed. When I picked it up it fell apart due to being in the rain and inside was a purple substance. We can only assume this had been added deliberately by someone and the bread had been thrown over into our garden and not what we thought as being dropped by a bird. Beware anyone with pets. We were lucky our dog is OK but upset that I hear this going on alot of late. We are around the Gardner road area. Posted on Neighbour hood app
