St. Jerome’s enjoyed a ‘Big Lent Walk’ yesterday around Formby

St. Jerome’s enjoyed a ‘Big Lent Walk’ around #Formby yesterday, Thursday 30th March.
Siobhan Farnell, CAFOD LiveSimply
Coordinator for Schools, was delighted to join St Jerome's on their Big Lent Walk and said "I was thrilled to join the pupils and staff of St Jerome's on their Big Lent Walk today.”
“The pupils had created some fantastic posters and they enthusiastically spread the word with shouts of "stop global poverty' as they walked.”

Siobhan continued "Lent is a time for reflection and a period where we think about others. The Big Lent Walk gives everyone the opportunity to help those in poverty, especially at a time when extreme weather is threatening livelihoods around the world, thank you to all who have taken part or supported the walk."

Thanks so much for all your support and I hope you all have a blessed Easter.
