Severe westerly Gale force winds of up to 40mph in Formby

Good Morning on Thursday 11th March. It’s 9°C in #Formby with early rain and squally winds clearing to leave spells of sunshine but with a scattering of heavy and thundery showers this afternoon.

Winds remain strong with severe westerly gales of 40mph particularly around coastlines. Maximum temperature 9°C.

High Tide today is at 9:50am and 10:20pm (8.40m) but due to the gale force winds will be a lot higher.
