School Lane in Formby was closed by police for over 3 hours this morning

Emergency services were called to School Lane in Formby this morning after a woman collapsed. Police cordoned off the road whilst CPR by a local lady was performed until ambulances arrived at the scene.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: “We were called to School Lane in Formby at 6.30am today, Thursday 6 October following reports of a concern for safety.“ “Emergency services attended. A woman in her 40s was found outside on the road and is believed to have suffered a medical episode.“ “She has been taken to hospital by ambulance.“ “A cordon has been put in place while emergency services are at the scene.”

Unfortunately, we still don’t know the condition of the woman, but send love and thoughts to her family.
