Roadworks Alert – Brooks Road Closure

Drivers in #Formby are being advised to expect delays as roadworks begin on Brooks Road from tomorrow, Monday 15th September.

The works, carried out by SP Energy Networks, will require a full road closure on Brooks Road between Ward Avenue and Queens Road. The closure will be in place from 8:00am on Monday 15th September until 4:30pm on Tuesday 23rd September.

A signed diversion route will be in operation via Ward Avenue and Queens Road (see map). Pedestrian access will be maintained, but the footway will also have partial closures where necessary.

These works are part of essential utility repair and maintenance and have been approved by Sefton Council.
