Road closure in place due to serious incident in Formby with numerous emergency vehicles on site

Police have taped off Barkfield Lane and Holmwood Drive in #Formby, due to an ongoing serious incident.

At approximately 8pm tonight, emergency services were called to a house fire in Holmwood Drive. Six fire engines, a serious incident wagon, six police vehicles, ambulance and paramedics are currently in attendance at the scene.

There is no access to Holmwood Drive at the moment from Barkfield Lane end.
