Off-road bikes and £50k in cash found at address in Formby
Operation Pelican Officers have this afternoon, Friday 14th July, seized off-road bikes and approximately £50,000 in cash believed to be from the proceeds of crime.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said: "Officers carried out an investigation after numerous reports of nuisance bikes in the #Netherton area. Enquires led to an address in #Formby where Officers forced entry and located two off road bikes and also £50,000 hidden in bags and cling film which is believed to be gained through the proceeds of crime."
"Enquires are ongoing and the bikes will be crushed preventing further anti-social behaviour in the area."
