Residents in Formby were surprised to see Nigel Farage in the village today, Thursday 9th April, as political activity increases ahead of the upcoming local elections.
The Reform UK leader was first seen at the war memorial before walking down Chapel Lane, where he was accompanied by a professional camera crew. During his visit, he stopped at several local shops.
The visit had been signposted earlier in the day via an email from Mr Farage’s office, which stated:
“We’re writing to let you know that later this morning Mr Farage will be visiting your constituency.”
Today’s appearance comes as campaigning continues across Sefton Central, with Formby expected to be a key area in the upcoming local elections.
There has been no official statement released by Reform UK regarding the purpose of the visit at this stage.

The information is complete but lacks reactions from residents or a broader political context. Including different perspectives would make it more balanced and engaging. This is similar to Unblocked Games, where multiple viewpoints make the experience richer.
Do people like Ralph now live in Formby? Oh, dear.
How long was Farage in the village for, because somehow, if your photos are correct( they’re not obviously) he managed to carry out a complete change of clothes while he was here? I know most of the shops in Formby, and I don’t recognise the one in the photo. So what going on?
should av shot him dead the rat
