Multiple Police cars attended a report of a concern for safety of a woman in Formby this morning


Multiple police vehicles attended a quiet road in Formby at 3am this morning after a report of a concern for safety was called in.


A spokeswoman from Merseyside Police said: “At around 3am this morning (Thursday 16 December) officers were called to a report of a concern for safety of a woman on Ennerdale Road in Formby.”


“A 44-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault.”

“He was taken to a police station in Merseyside for questioning and remains in custody.”
