Merseyside Police holding two community drop in surgeries in Formby this week

Formby residents will have two opportunities to speak directly with Merseyside Police officers this week, with community drop in surgeries being held at Formby Library and Waitrose.

The first session takes place today, Monday 5th October, from 1pm until 3pm at Formby Library on Duke Street.

Residents are invited to call in and speak to officers about any concerns they may have in their neighbourhood or the wider Formby area.

The informal drop in session is an opportunity to raise local issues, ask questions, discuss anything residents feel the police should be aware of, or simply meet members of the local policing team and have a chat.

There is no need to make an appointment and residents can call in at any point during the two hour session.

A second police drop in surgery will then be held tomorrow, Tuesday 6th October, from 1pm until 3pm at Waitrose Café on Three Tuns Lane in Formby.

Again, local residents are welcome to attend and speak directly with officers about issues affecting them or their community.

Community surgeries provide an important opportunity for residents to have face to face contact with their local policing team and to highlight concerns that may be affecting particular streets or neighbourhoods.
