Lux 37 in Formby closes its doors for the final time

Over nearly four years, Lux 37 became a familiar and much loved part of village life. Opening during a particularly challenging period for the hospitality industry, the venue quickly built a loyal following and became known for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly team and the many memories made there.

In a message shared with us today, the team said:

The time has come to say goodbye to all of our amazing customers at LUX37, you have been amazing and we will see you again.

Our owners are going their own ways and the doors are now closed, this is the end.

It has been an amazing nearly four years and we have made so many friends. We have also seen a lot and learnt a lot 😂 we have laughed and we have pulled our hair out.

A massive shout out to all the staff as well over the years, you have been a great team.

Keep your eyes peeled for what is next 👀 we will see you soon, very soon.

For almost four years, Lux 37 was more than just a bar. It was a place where friendships were formed, celebrations were shared and countless nights out in Formby began and ended.

The closure will be felt by many regulars and across the wider community. We wish the owners and all the staff every success in whatever comes next and judging by their final words, this may not be the last we hear from them.
