In Loving Memory of “Potty Paul” – Paul Gorman

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Paul Gorman, a much-loved Formby resident who will be fondly remembered by many in our community.

Paul, known affectionately as “Potty Paul” for his love of gardening and his dedication to growing plants to raise money for charity, spent many years working as a butcher and greengrocer at Kwiksave in Formby.

A true family man, Paul was married to his beloved wife Mavis for 53 happy years. He was a devoted dad to Jane and to his son, and he passed away peacefully surrounded by his “lovely family”, as he would often say.

A Service to Celebrate Paul’s Life will be held on

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his warmth, kindness, and community spirit will live on in the hearts of many here in Formby
