Huge Emergency Response at Formby’s Lifeboat Road This Morning

Emergency services have now been stood down following an incident at Lifeboat Road in Formby earlier this morning.
At approximately 8:50am, a large number of emergency crews were seen heading to the area, including Coastguard teams, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, and around eight police vehicles. Firefighters were observed wearing life jackets as part of the response.

The significant multi-agency presence was due to concerns for a missing person, prompting a coordinated search operation.
The incident was resolved after the missing person was safely located, and all emergency services were stood down at approximately 9:40am.
