A huge congratulations to Formby Community FC Under 11’s Oranges on their cup success on Monday 8th May.
A fantastic event organised by Southport FC at Haig Avenue. There were sixteen U11 teams competing in the rainy conditions.
After a slow start to the morning, FCFC quickly gathered momentum and finished the day in dramatic fashion with a last-minute winner in the finalto take the Europa Cup trophy.
All thirteen kids were absolutely delighted and a lovely message of appreciation from the opposition was sent after the game for the sportsmanship shown upon the final whistle, consoling the opponents before celebrating a great day!
