The countdown is on for one of the most anticipated weekends in the Formby calendar — Formby Live! 2025, the village’s much-loved free music festival, returns Friday 27th to Sunday 29th June, bringing with it three packed days of live music, family fun, and local entertainment.

Now a firm favourite in the local events calendar, Formby Live! is organised by Imagine Formby in partnership with local businesses and volunteers. The festival transforms Chapel Lane and the Formby Pool grounds into lively music zones, with stages, food stalls, fairground rides, and live performances across the weekend — and best of all, it’s completely free to attend.

What to Expect:

Formby Live! 2025 features performances from talented musicians from across the region, including acts hosted by Merseycats, a charity supporting sick and disadvantaged children. The music spans multiple genres and generations, promising something for everyone.

Outdoors at the Woodwards Stage
Inside Woodwards Wine Bar
At Formby Pool
Across participating venues in Chapel Lane

The festival kicks off on Friday 27th June at 9pm with Chill Collins performing live at Woodwards Wine Bar. Table bookings are recommended via 01704 831049 or their Facebook page.

Fun for the Whole Family

Throughout Saturday and Sunday, Formby Pool grounds will host a vibrant family funfair by Ponts Amusements, alongside a bar, BBQ, outdoor play area, and music all day long. Chapel Lane will come alive with outdoor performances and pop-up venues, creating a festival atmosphere right in the heart of the village.
