Due to points failure on Southport line, all services will start and terminate at Hillside

Service Update – Southport Line

Merseyrail has confirmed that trains between Southport and Hillside are currently cancelled or operating on a revised timetable due to a points failure at Southport station.

During this disruption, all services will start and terminate at Hillside until further notice.

Rail replacement buses are in operation between Hillside and Southport to ensure passengers can complete their journeys.

Passengers are advised to check live departure boards and allow extra time for travel.
