Coastal Road Closure for Southport Triathlon.
The coastal road is fully closed in both directions today, Sunday 17th May, due to the Southport Triathlon.
The closure runs from Ainsdale roundabout, through Birkdale, along Marine Drive, and continues to the Plough roundabout.
Roads will remain closed from 6.30am until 1.00pm.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area during these times and plan alternative routes where possible.
