Call Out: Missing Child Reunited on Formby Beach

On Saturday 16th August at 6:31pm, Holyhead Coastguard paged Southport Lifeboat and their quad team following reports of a missing child on Formby Beach.

Thanks to the swift response of the Southport Lifeboat crew — and the vigilance of a family who spotted the child and raised the alarm — the youngster was quickly reunited with their loved ones. All units were safely stood down once the situation was resolved.
