Lancashire U19s seal consecutive county titles with the help of a local Formby resident
Ollie Sutton starred for Lancashire under 19s winning the national championships. Oli is 19 and from Formby having grown up just 5 minutes away from Formby Cricket Club.
It was evident as a 10 year old the cricket club had a talented player on their hands. Making his 1st XI debut at 16 Oli has excelled into one of the top all rounders in the Liverpool competition opening both the batting and bowling this season.
His excellent form was rewarded with a debut for the Lancashire 2nd XI. Most recently he has excelled for the Lancashire under 19s taking 5-14 against Yorkshire to win the County Championship last week.
"Oli has been outstanding for Formby this season with his most notable performance against Crosby side Northern CC when he belted 86 from just 30 balls in the 1st round of the National 20/20 " - said club president Charles Mills. "We are very proud of his achievements at Lancashire as well and he will only continue to improve"
