StemCellScousers have helped us to recruit 846 new donors to our Stem Cell Donor Register.
StemCellScousers was formed in 2015 by Kevin Dunne and his brother Tony after the Anthony Nolan found a StemCell Donor for Kevin’s wife who had been diagnosed with the very aggressive Acute Myeloid Leukaemia The StemCell Transplant Saved her life. The transplant took place in the Royal Liverpool Hospital and the StemCellScousers still raise funds for the hospital’s R CHARITY.
The Myeloma U.K. West Lancs and Mersyside Support Group joined the StemCellScousers last year and have helped at numerous fundraising events for the Anthony Nolan and the Royal Liverpool Hospitals R CHARITY.
The next event is to be held in Enelle’s Glass House at 241B Lord Street Southport on Thursday 4th. July. The event is being produced by local singer and StemCellScouser Nuala Duxbury.
