The Hightown Festival is on today and tomorrow, great family days out!

FESTIVAL FUN, SATURDAY 4th MAY. Loads of fun and activities for everyone Saturday daytime, but don't forget the fun doesn't just stop at 5pm ! Three different venues for you to try out Saturday evening: The Hightown Hotel (with an early disco for the kids, and the fantastic Pulsey (back by popular demand !) later on; You can catch fantastic cabaret singer Richie Stone at the Blundellsands Sailing Club from 7pm (followed by buffet and disco. Note this is a ticketed event); And if you fancy something a bit more intellectual, head over to St. Stephen's Church Hall, 6-8pm for the "Crime, Cheese & Wine Book Event" with local author Sally-Anne Tapia Bowes (note, ticketed event.
