Formby Library's next monthly talk is about 'Brilliant Bats'

This months talk at Formby Library is 'Brilliant Bats!' The image of a bat is instantly recognisible, provoking a range of reactions in people from fear to admiration, yet few people have actually seen one! Even fewer people know about their amazing physiology or how they live.

Come and hear about the reasons for our uneasy relationship with bats, the many species found around the UK with an emphasis on our local bats and the threats they're currently facing.

Des Ney, local naturalist and active member of Merseyside & West Lancs Bat Group will also explain the work of the group and the range of activities they offer.
