Shoebox Express Formby collected over 850 shoeboxes, now they begin their journey

Our friends at International Aid Trust brought their lorry this morning and, with the help of kind volunteers, we were able to quickly load this year's batch of Christmas shoeboxes.

They look amazing - lots of bright colours - and we know the children that receive them will have great fun with the contents.

858 Christmas shoeboxes were loaded - that's 192 MORE boxes than last year! 😯😊😀 What a wonderful community we live in - you are so amazingly generous.

The Shoebox Express elves have one final Bazaar tomorrow, in Netherton, and then it's time for the elves to rejoin Santa. It wouldn't do to miss Christmas!
