Staff at the BP in Formby dressed up for Superhero Day and also have a cake sale tomorrow

Lots of fun this weekend at the BP in Formby on Liverpool Road for cash for kids. All the staff dressed up as Superheroes for the Cash for Kids Superhero Day which they are continuing tomorrow as well with a cake sale tomorrow.

Cash for Kids Superhero Day took place on 4th May. Companies were asked once again to dress up, join in the fun and fundraise or donate. All the money raised will stay in the local community within which it was raised, supporting disability, combating illness and improving quality of life for children aged 0-18.

Cash for Kids responds to the needs of children in our communities so they can live life to the full and realise their individual potential.

Based across 22 areas in the UK, at the heart of your favourite radio stations, we support children aged 0-18 who are disabled, disadvantaged or suffering from abuse or neglect.

Cash for Kids said: "We raised over £23 million in 2017, supporting more than 709,000 children."
