Tree Hugging Protest in Formby Village tomorrow at 9am to stop the trees being destroyed
Dear Formby Bubble:
Residents in Formby are set to stage a tree hugging protest tomorrow ( MONDAY 29th) morning at 9 AM as the local Sefton council move into fell their ancient village trees.
These have been deemed dead and unsafe by the council without any report to residents and are in fact alive and well and needing just a little tree care surgery.
A proper inspection by an expert has been refused by the council whom it appears just want the trees removed to save on yearly care and maintenance.
The residents are asking for an independent Arborist to come and check the trees and confirm their life!
We have heard prominent local celebrities and the local MP will be out in force.
Local Media and National news and press will be in attendance to see the Story unfold.
