Kerry Katona reacts "Strength through hard times," to the shock revelation that her estranged husband George Kay had a two hour naked meltdown on a Formby rooftop.
It has now been revealed that the Formby man in the dramatic rooftop stand-off with police near Brewery Lane was in fact George Kay, husband of Kerry Katona.
Merseyside Police were called to a Formby home after receiving reports of a man on the roof.
Officers were called to the scene on Old Lane after reports there was a naked man on the roof that was shouting for help. Merseyside Fire & Rescue crews were also in attendance with three appliances but handed the situation over to Merseyside Police.
Police managed to coax Mr Kay down around 6pm and paramedics were called.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “We can confirm officers were called to Old Lane, Formby, on Monday July 3rd, following reports of concerns for safety of a man."
“Officers were called at 4.05pm to reports a man in his 40's was on the roof of property. The man was eventually coaxed down and taken inside the property and was speaking to officers before being checked over by paramedics.”
Nobody was hurt in the incident.
