Victoria Road will be closed from Monday 12th June with no access for vehicles
On Monday 12th June, Victoria Road will be closed to traffic from Freshfield train station. There will be no access at all for any vehicles.
Sefton Council will be carrying out High Voltage electrical works.
All vehicles will be diverted.
The roadworks will continue until 30th June. Busses will be affected as follows:
Victoria Road (Formby)
Routes F1, F2, F4, F5 and F6 are affected.
Monday 12 June 2017 for approximately 3 weeks.
Bus diversions are as follows:
Route F1 will travel as normal from Formby Town Centre to Freshfield Road, then via Old Town Lane, Gores Lane then as normal route to Formby Village (omitting part of Freshfield Road and Victoria Road).
Route F2 will travel as normal from Formby Town Centre to Gores Lane, then via Gores Lane, Old Town Lane, Freshfield Road then as normal route to Formby Town Centre (omitting Victoria Road and part of Freshfield Road).
Route F4 will travel as normal from Formby Town Centre to Harington Road, then via Victoria Road, Larkhill Lane, Wicks Lane, Woodlands Road, Kirklake Road, Formby Bridge, Duke Street, Three Tuns Lane, Formby Town Centre where the service finishes (omitting Victoria Road, Gores Lane and Halsall Lane).
Route F5 will travel from Formby Town Centre via Elbow Lane, Duke Street, Formby Bridge, Kirklake Road, Woodlands Road, Wicks Lane, Larkhill Lane, Victoria Road, Harington Road, then as normal route back to Formby Town Centre (omitting Halsall Lane, Gores Lane and Victoria Road).
Route F6 will travel as normal from Formby Town Centre to Victoria Road, then via Gores Lane, Old Town Lane, Freshfield Road, Duke Street, then as normal route to Formby Town Centre (omitting Victoria Road, Harington Road, Woodlands Road, Kirklake Road and Formby Bridge).
