Formby Food, Drink and Music Festival offers 3 days of family fun....
Formby Festival began in 2013, since then it has grown into the pinnacle of Formby’s summer calendar. Each year families travel from across the North West to enjoy the delights we have on offer! There are countless food and drink stalls from all around the world. There is an amazing main stage which offers a wide variety of music and entertainment, and a variety of the specialist children’s entertainment. We are proud to say that “there is truly is something for everyone to enjoy!”
Formby Festival was set up to try and recreate the old Formby Show that was a highlight across the country many years ago. We set out to create a new event with a twist which could incorporate food, drink and music and last for a weekend offering something for all ages. It has since grown over the past few years and is firmly set on the calendar as the third weekend in July. Over 10,000 people attend this event and it is growing each year.

We’ve got lots of delicious food, plenty of real ales and fine wines. But what’s going to keep the little ones busy? Formby Festival has always strived to make the event fun for all ages, and that’s why we cater for the littlest visitors too.
2017 is set to be our biggest yet, and we’ve got plenty of things to keep the little ones busy all day long!
We have plenty of free children’s activities to keep them busy all throughout the weekend, from food to fun, magic to crafts it’s all here!
