Sun, Sports and Superheroes in Marbella with Formby High School
At the start of the Easter holidays, a group of Year 8 students jetted off to Marbella in Spain for six days of sporting activites, sunshine and Spanish culture.
The girls netball group travelled to Gilbraltar for their fixtures where they also enjoyed a Dolphin safari tour; the boys enjoyed an unbeaten match run against their Spanish opponents and a tour of Malaga FC’s La Rosaleda stadium.
As a whole group, the students also went ten pin bowling, visited Puerto Banus and had a fancy dress evening where everyone got into the holiday spirit – including staff superheoes Buzz, SuperTy and of course Wally.
Staff and students enjoyed a fantastic trip and, once again, the school was very proud to receive correspondence from members of the public who shared the same flights to commend our students on their attitude and behaviour.
