Acorn Kitchens celebrate 30yrs in Formby Village

Acorn Kitchens are celebrating 30 years of being in Formby from 1987 to 2017, supplying and fitting quality kitchens to the people of Formby and surrounding areas.

Acorn Kitchens was started by Ben Howes and Steve Penter, lifelong friends and work colleagues. From the age of 17 they served their apprenticeship together to become fully qualified tradesmen within the kitchen industry. They started out in the manufacturing side of the industry, and gradually developed their skills to become working directors of their own kitchen company.

Having stayed loyal to the Formby area, they have resisted opportunities to expand the business and move out of the area, keeping Acorn Kitchens a small local, friendly family run business. You will very rarely see Acorn Kitchens advertising, as almost 100% of their business is by word of mouth and recommendations from satisfied customers, as the many thank you cards and letters of satisfaction on display in the showroom will confirm this.

Having been in business for 30 years , and having to survive through two of the deepest recessions ever known in this country, is testament to the quality of service and quality of their work which they continue to provide today.
