Range High Christmas Bake of Returns!

This year saw the return of the Range Christmas Cake Bake Off - the festive competition held by the Food Technology Department. Pupils have been coming to the Food Technology rooms at lunchtimes since the middle of November to work on their cakes and over the last few days have been working hard to put the finishing touches to them. Everyone here is in agreement that the standard this year has been exceptionally high. Today, the cakes were judged by a panel consisting of Terry Mace (Head of Technology), Hilary Hawkins (Learning Resources Manager and Cake-maker extraordinaire!) and Shirley Pike (Food Technician). First prize went to Molly Scott ( Year 9) and runner-up prizes to Sam Ashton (Year 9) and Matthew Redfern. Well done to all who entered!
