Formby Christmas Lights Roll-of-Honour
The Formby Christmas Lights 'Roll of Honour' grows as more local businesses contribute to the Formby Christmas Lights Appeal. The donations pay for the running of the lights, the replacement of the old lights in the trees in the village and the cost of running the switch-on event.
The latest to donate is the brand new Co-op store on Queens Road in Formby. Helen Horsley, shop manager (pictured above with Cllr Denise Dutton) presented Cllr Denise Dutton (who is the Chief Fundraiser for the Christmas Lights appeal) with a cheque for £1,000 on their opening day last week.
"We will be collecting contributions from local businesses on the day, but if anyone prefers to pay on-line the bank details are below."
