The Formby Ladies darts league recruitment evening

The Formby Ladies darts league is having a recruitment evening at 8pm on Tuesday 5th July at the Royal Hotel on Liverpool Road, and are inviting all ladies to go along to join them. They want more women to join in with the very popular weekly meetings.

Every Tuesday pubs in Formby welcome the ladies along as they bring glamour and laughter to the game as part of the Formby Ladies Darts League.

The league was established over 15 years ago will be played at the Royal Hotel , the Gild Hall and the Cross House Inn next season.

League secretary, Angela Stopforth said: “Playing darts on a Tuesday night is great fun, we do a variety of leagues, tournaments and charity nights to raise money for some worthy causes."

“It doesn’t matter if you have never played before – you just need to be willing to have a go and make new friends."

“The youngest player we have is 18 with the oldest being in their late 70s, it really is a league for everyone."
