Much loved, Formby's Dorothy Bradshaw passed away suddenly
Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Dorothy Bradshaw who sadly passed away on Tuesday 14th June
Dorothy went peacefully at home surrounded by friends and family after a very short battle with cancer. Dorothy was married to the late Syd, and daughters Christine, Karen and the late Deborah. Sister of the late Lillian Norris.
Dorothy lived all her life in Formby and grew up in Watchyard Lane. She lived all of her married life in Park Road, Formby and then moved to Smithy Green where she lived with and cared for her late mother Eva Blanchard.
Dorothy was the manageress of Sayers the bakers, and made many life long friends there. She was well known throughout Formby and enjoyed going to the local bingo's.
In her younger years, she loved going dancing at the Gild Hall with her very good friends Joyce and Harry Parker. She was a friend to all that knew her. The life and soul of the party and will be sadly missed by all.
The funeral is to be held on Thursday 23rd June at 2pm at Our Lady's church, followed by a short service at Southport Crematorium at 2.40pm. Then onto St Jerome's in Formby.
All are welcome. FAMILY FLOWERS ONLY PLEASE. Donations to be made in lieu of the family and they will be passed on to a charity of their choice. RIP Dorothy Bradshaw
