Missing 6-yr old boy found safe and well

**Update 6.20pm: the boy has now been found safe and well in Formby. Merseyside Police can confirm that we are currently searching Formby beach after the report of a missing boy this afternoon, Sunday 5 June. The boy is 6 years old, and is described as white, with auburn hair, wearing blue swimming trunks with a red waistband, and approximately 1 metre tall (3ft 3in). The boy was reported missing around 4pm and police, assisted by the fire service, coastguard, lifeguard and helicopter, are currently involved in the search.
