Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway was in Formby tonight for Sofa Watch

Formby residents were quick to spot that one of this week's secret locations on Ant and Dec Saturday Night Takeaway was at Formby Pool.

Comedy duo Ant & Dec brought their show to Formby tonight - Saturday 5th March after hiding one of their sofa watch settees at Formby Pool.

Fans of the prime time ITV show, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway , were left scrambling off their own sofas tonight in the hopes of winning the chance to be part of next week’s studio audience.

Eagle-eyed Formby Bubblers were quick to spot that the sofa was at Formby Pool on Elbow Lane and headed down there.

Over sixty people sat on the sofa and waved their banners in the hope of being a special guest on next weeks live show.

Unfortunately Saturday’s main prize went to a mum in Hartlepool who were picked at random from all those who entered throughout the UK.
