Ainsdale Beach Car Park is closed to public vehicles from 1st October through to May 2016. Access is still allowed to permit holders.

Merseyside Police inspectors have said Ainsdale beach will close over the winter months.
At the Southport Area Committee meeting on September 23, Neighbourhood Inspectors Jim Atherton and Graham Fisher announced the beach will be closed to 'prevent antisocial behaviour'
Inspector Atherton said: "The problem is, Sefton Council workers finish at five on the dot and leave it to us. And the reality is, we're not there to police beaches, our job is to fight crime.
"It makes complete sense to close the beach throughout the colder months."
However, a spokesman for Sefton Council said the beach would remain open, but the car park would close: "Ainsdale beach remains fully open for visitors but due to a significant reduction in Government funding for the council, there will be no public parking on the beach from October 1.
"Vehicular access to the beach will be maintained for emergency services and fishermen vehicles.
"Public parking on the beach will return in April/May to Sept 2016 and visitors can buy a beach parking season ticket for the summer season which is valid for parking at AinsdaleBeach Car Park, Southport Beach Car Park and Formby Lifeboat Road Car Park."
