There are familiar faces at the top of the table after three rounds of matches with Crosby Village SC and Crosby Comrades leading the way.

Both recorded 5-1 home wins, Comrades at home to Formby SSC C where Rob Radford notched a 37 break for the hosts, whilst Shaun Catterall avoided the whitewash in beating Neil Farrington.

Mike Radcliffe and Ray Lavelle also put in battling performances for the C team who were unlucky not to come away with more from the match.

Norman Lee was the start for St Mary’s Comrades, beating Open champion Wayne Heitman but otherwise it was business as usual for Crosby Village with Karl Weeks (37) and Paul Withe (33) amongst the breaks.

Conservative Club B have started well and this continued with a 4-2 defeat of Our Ladys A.
